Cooper Belts Bunch of Base Hits Friday, May 6th , 2016 John Cooper really did a number on the LB-R Ports -- and the Ports did one right back on Cooper's team, the SAC-R Ironhorse, taking the Rangely Grounds contest, 7-4. Cooper delivered a huge 5-for-5 performance for SAC-R, but did not deliver the victory. "I felt real good in the batter's box," the 19-year-old center fielder said after putting up a game for the ages. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." John Cooper doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
