White Tames Aguilas Rojas 3-0, 17 Ks Sunday, July 10th , 2016 Everything was working for Mike White at Teutons Ballpark. He had the perfect delivery. The ball was moving. The splitter was working. In an unforgettable performance, the 22-year-old White fanned 17 Aguilas Rojas and sparked the 3-0 Amarillo Thunder victory over Ciuded Juarez. He left Aguilas Rojas hitters mumbling and muttering at the plate. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it. "I don't know if there are many times that I've seen him throw better," said Amarillo manager . "His location and command were really something." In addition to collecting 17 strikeouts over 8.1 innings, White allowed 1 hit and 3 walks in a superlative outing. "I thought I'd make it easy on the guys today," White said with a smile.
