Dovale Mows Down 15 Broncos Thursday, July 7th , 2016 Boise Redskins starter Wallace Dovale brought his best stuff to Redskins Ballpark against the Alamogordo Broncos, striking out 15 batters in his club's 2-1 victory. In a strong performance, the 22-year-old Dovale gave up 4 hits in his 7.2 innings of work and issued 3 walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my splitter was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." His record for the year is 4-8 in 18 starts and Dovale has a 2.55 ERA. View Boxscore |
