Redwoods Parks Stops Divers Wednesday, June 22nd , 2016 Everything clicked on the hill for Dennis Parks, as he hurled the Eureka Redwoods to a shutout win, 4-0, over the Pearl City Divers, limiting them to 6 hits while recording 9 strikeouts and yielding 2 walks. He overpowered some batters with fastballs and buckled knees with sharp breaking pitches. "We had our shot at him a couple of different times," Divers manager said. "We just weren't able to get to him." To date this season, Parks has registered 15 starts, 6-7 won-lost mark, 1.79 ERA, 110.1 IP, 122 strikeouts and 30 walks.
