Miller Sends Texarcana Bats to Deep Freeze Saturday, July 2nd , 2016 Gary Miller shut out the Texarcana Hilljacks, 1-0, on a 4-hit masterpiece for the Duluth Dukes at Dukes Ballpark. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Duluth skipper said afterward. Miller registered 7 strikeouts and issued 1 walk in pitching a gem. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Texarcana manager after the defeat.
