Pérez Wins PCAA Top Pitcher Award Friday, July 1st , 2016 The Pacific AA scribes have announced June's Pitcher of the Month and have given the award to Leonardo Pérez of Vernon. He was one tough cookie on the mound last month with a fine 3-0 mark to prove it. The Vernon star made 0 starts with a 0.63 ERA and surrendered 16 hits in 14.1 innings. He struck out 18 and walked 3. This season, Pérez has fanned 43 in 35.2 innings and collected a 5-0 record with a 1.51 ERA. |
