Pitcher of the Month Named in PAA Friday, July 1st , 2016 An outstanding 4-1 record in June earned George Beck the Pitcher of the Month Award in the Pioneer AA. When his name was penciled in to start on the Odessa lineup card, it meant trouble for opposing teams. In 52 innings of work, Beck limited opposing batters to 35 base hits and a .188 batting average. He notched 68 strikeouts, issued 18 walks and had a 2.60 ERA. This season to date, Beck has a record of 10 wins and 6 losses with a 2.21 ERA, has appeared in 17 games and struck out 185 in 151 innings. |
