Griffin PAA Outstanding Batter of the Month Friday, July 1st , 2016 Jerry Griffin made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Pioneer AA this past month. The Peoria Paratroopers right fielder shined through the month of June and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 23-year-old hit .343 with 13 home runs, 34 RBIs and 23 runs scored. During the current season Griffin is batting at a .297 clip with 19 home runs and 58 RBIs. He has played in 74 games and scored 47 times. |
