PAAA Presents Player of the Week Trophy Monday, July 11th , 2016 25-year-old Joe Maddox made a few Brownsville headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Pioneer AAA officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 22 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Maddox collected 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 8 runs. This year, Maddox is batting .254 with 13 home runs. He has scored 42 runs and driven in 49. |
