PAAA Star of the Week Honored Monday, July 4th , 2016 One of the league's most exciting young players, Zach Starks of the Provo Gulls earned himself Pioneer AAA Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 23-year-old third baseman had a lofty .524 average (11-for-21), collecting no home runs, 3 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Thus far this season, Starks is hitting .297 with 11 home runs, 41 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has 89 hits in 300 at-bats and has played in 77 games. |
