Parks Spins Shutout Against Oranges Saturday, July 2nd , 2016 Andre Parks hurled a fine game for the Santa Barbara Foresters at Oranges Ballpark, holding the Ventura Oranges to 5 hits in a shutout win. "When he started out, his command wasn't that good, but he's a tough guy," Santa Barbara manager said. "The more pitches he throws, the better his command is." The right-hander had 7 strikeouts and no walks in the 1-0 victory. "An outstanding job," Ventura manager said. "We couldn't get anything going. Every time we got a hit, he got out of the jam. He pitched a terrific game." So far this year, Parks has a 11-3 record with a 2.21 ERA. View Boxscore |
