Jackson's Alvarado Top PAAA Batter in June Friday, July 1st , 2016 For a rookie just breaking in, Marcos Alvarado certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the PAAA Batter of the Month award for June. The 22-year-old right fielder for the Jackson Hermits hit .310 with 9 home runs, 18 RBIs and 15 runs scored. This year, Alvarado has socked 79 hits in 270 at-bats for a .293 average with 24 home runs. He is getting on base at a .394 pace and his totals also include 54 RBIs and 50 runs scored. |
