Ironhorse Squelch Seals Offense in Shutout Win
The Sacramento Ironhorse beat the San Francisco Seals, 3-0, at Ironhorse Stadium. Starting pitcher Arthur Wise was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Wise got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 2 hits and walked 3 over 7 innings. He allowed no runs. At 9-5, the Ironhorse have played well so far.

The Ironhorse got a big at-bat from second baseman Mike Williams. For the game, Williams went 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 6th double of the season gave Sacramento a 3-0 lead.

"Arthur was dictating to their hitters," said Sacramento manager RR Zayx.
